Tech Met, Inc.

Tech Met was Incorporated by Gary Reed in the late 1980’s to service the needs of east coast based industrial and aerospace customers initially. Providing solutions and processing in the handling of super alloys which led to a variety of work for various technology oriented firms such as Wyman Gordon, General Electric, Rocketdyne, Avco Specialty Materials and Bettis Atomic Labs.

 A complete facility relocation and renovation was undertaken in 2012.  This providing 45,000 square feet of manufacturing space with 21,000 square feet dedicated to chemical milling “wet” processes.  The remaining space is used for parts preparation, masking, quality assurance and administrative functions.

With the addition of new customers, process offerings and increased automation, Tech Met Inc. purchased an 88,000 sq. ft. facility in nearby Donora, PA to facilitate expansion and additional capabilities.
