AEROSPACE INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE NORWAY AS
KAMS has played a major role in Norwegian aviation industry since 1916. KAMS was established a part of the Norwegian Defence Logistics Organisation (NDLO) at Kjeller, and was transformed into a state enterprise, 100% owned by the Ministry of Defence, in 2011.
The driving force behind the transformation was to enable KAMS to compete in the international markets for new contracts and projects, and to be at the heart of future Performance Based Logistics concepts and support.
KAMS has extensive capabilities in the areas of repair, overhaul, modification and testing of components for military aircraft and helicopters. It also specializes in recycling of spare parts.
The main Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul (MRO) and support capabilities at KAMS can be summarised as:
- Helicopter Maintenance
- Fixed Wing Aircraft Maintenance
- Non-Destructive Testing
- Engines and Components
- Component Repair
- Warehouse and Logistics
