Allied Jet International, Inc.
Charlie Belcher grew up loving airplanes. His family business owned a Lockheed 12A and a Twin Beech. After serving in the United States Army Charlie decided in 1971 to learn to fly. After two years as a disc jockey and part time flight instructor, Charlie along with three other partners founded Appalachian Flying Service, a charter service and flight school in Bluefield, West Virginia. 1975 was the year that Charlie began his career as a Corporate Pilot. He was off to Wichita for King Air 200 School and a new job as a King Air 200 copilot. Charlie earned type ratings in the Citation 500 series aircraft, CitationJet, Lear Jet, Westwind, Falcon 50/900, Beechcraft Premier and is qualified in all models of the Beechcraft King Air. Charlie holds an Airline Transport Pilot Rating, Certified Flight Instructor Rating and has almost 17,000 hours of flying time. Charlie began selling aircraft for Stevens Aviation during his time as a pilot ... and so his real passion for selling aircraft began.
In 1992 Charlie changed directions in his career and began selling airplanes full time. Charlie co-founded Allied Jet International in 1997. Allied Jet International quickly became a leader in aircraft sales around the world. Allied Jet supplied aircraft to client's in South Africa for use with the World Food Programme and the UN and for contracts in Afghanistan. Charlie has delivered aircraft and trained pilots throughout the world. Charlie's expertise as a pilot and instructor in both turbo-prop aircraft and jets coupled with his experience in international aircraft transactions bring experience and integrity to the Allied Jet Team.
