ASI Jet Sales

Tim Ashenfelter started ASI-Aero Services in 1983. He sold Used piston aircraft, then eventually becoming factory Dealers for Mooney and Piper Aircraft. in 1987 Tim bought out the very reputable maintenance facility Modern Aero.  In 1991 ASI/Modern Aero became a Socata TBM Sales Affiliate and the very first TBM Service Center in the US. Then in 1996 a Cessna Caravan Area Sales Rep. Later that year, Tim sold his first NEW Jet, a 1996 Citation CJ. From then on the company sold more and more New and Used Cessna Caravans, and Cessna Citation models specializing in Turbine powered aircraft eventually changing the company name to ASI JET CENTER.  In 2001, ASI became one of the first Diamond Aircraft Dealers.

Tom Ashenfelter (Tim's youngest Son) joined the company in 1999 at 16 years old, starting at the bottom as a line Technician, then eventually becoming a part of the Aircraft Sales team in 2007. 

In 2009, with the vast experience with Turbine powered aircraft, ASI Jet became a Factory Authorized Thrush Aircraft Dealer, Service Center, and Parts distributor. To this day ASI Jet is Successfully buying and selling New and Used Thrush Aircraft for over 9 years for Aerial Application Operations all over the world!  As a Father & Son team, with over 40 Years of combined Aircraft Sales experience; Tim and Tom have had continued success over the years by treating people right, earning trust, and performing for you with class and dignity.

In early 2013, ASI Jet dropped the "Center" and moved its operation to Hutchinson Municipal Airport, to become the local FBO operator providing Aircraft Maintenance, Parts support, Aviation fuels, and More!
