ASTec Metalworks was founded in 2009 by Scott Saunders to serve aerospace and defense customers with complex 5-axis machining capability as the core of the business.  As planned, we have grown to provide top quality complex sheet metal and assembly capability in order to provide a simplified purchasing experience for our clients.  These varied capabilities have also enabled us to reach another goal of supporting more varied industries and customers. 

Based in Middle River, Maryland USA, ASTec employs 15 team members and is continually adding technology for greater productivity, cost savings, and capabilities.  

Our constant growth is due to our amazing staff, and customers who provide us with the continued opportunities to demonstrate new skills.
