Bourguignon Barré was founded in 1930 by Henri Bourguignon. At the time it manufactured forged parts and had 10 employees.
Michel Bourguignon took over from his father in 1952. The workforce increased to 40 employees. Manufacturing diversified and the company entered new industrial sectors.
