BIBUS METALS AG was founded in 1979 and is one of the leading stockholders and suppliers of bar, sheet, plate, tube/pipe, wire and strip in high-performance materials. The Swiss head office is located in Fehraltorf near Zurich and the Service-Centre is located in Moehlin near Basle. BIBUS METALS AG is a daughter company of BIBUS HOLDING AG.

The establishment of sales organisations in Eastern Europe took place from the year 2000. Today, BIBUS METALS has its own subsidiaries in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Ukraine and Russia. This was followed by China in 2008 and the UKin 2011. The central warehouses are located in Switzerland, Germany, Poland and China.
