Claverham Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of UTC Aerospace Systems (A United Technologies Company), specialises in the development, certification, manufacture and support of high integrity actuation equipment and systems for the aerospace market. Our innovative designs are able to meet the demanding performance requirements of the modern aerospace market, as well as providing reliable, low maintenance solutions. Our principal areas of business are Primary Flight Control and Utilities Actuation:

Actuation systems for aerospace and defence applications.

Our primary flight control products range from simple mechanically operated actuators through to the latest in fly-by-wire (FBW) actuation. Applications include military/commercial rotorcraft, military fast jets/transport and UAV/UCAV. Technologies include electro-hydraulic, electro-mechanical and hybrid solutions.

Our utilities products include hydraulic equipment/systems, light landing gear, control actuators and valves for controlling the flow of fluid/air/gas. Applications include military turboprop trainer aircraft, rotorcraft, air transport and military fast jets. Technologies include hydraulic and electro-mechanical solutions.

We continue to push the boundaries with ground breaking research and development into new product technologies, and are firmly supporting the more electric aircraft and clean skies initiatives.
