Beginning as a small family owned operation founded in Maryland USA in 1951 as Fuse Indicator Corporation, and catering primarily to the military market, FIC Corporation was acquired as a wholly owned subsidiary by MPD Incorporated of Owensboro Kentucky in 2008.

Today’s FIC Corporation has grown into an internationally recognized manufacturer of industrial and military fuseholders, fuse clips, and blown fuse indicators, as well as a master distributor of all major brands of fuses, terminal boards, batteries & other selected components. More than six decades after our founding, our worldwide customer base includes defense contractors, shipyards, public agencies, powerboat builders, and manufacturers of electrical and electronic equipment.

FIC Corporation has developed and holds patents on most of the products it manufactures, including our recently introduced state of the art line of EMI/RFI Shielded Fuseholders, and we are the exclusive producers of these items.

FIC Corporation became a 100% Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) company when we joined the MPD Corporation family of companies.
