Since 1962, General Manufacturing has been building fluorescent work lights for industrial and military users under the Saf-T-Lite brand name.  In the mid 1990's General Manufacturing developed a full line of LED work lights.  Products now include portable hand-held lights, string lights, explosion-proof lights, wet location lighting, and mounted machine lights. New for 2017 we are introducing the Stubby II I.S. which is a cordless LED work light rated for use in Class I, Div 1 hazardous locations. In addition to a wide variety of lighting, General Manufacturing produces a broad line of power supply reels and specialty extension cords.
