John Bell Aircraft, Inc.

John Bell has over 50 years of experience in General Aviation. He has been providing clients with quality aircraft sales and acquisition services since 1977.

He puts an emphasis on his customer’s continued satisfaction with their purchase and creates a long term relationship to handle all of their aircraft needs.

John began as a lineman and aircraft mechanic at Memphis Flying Service, then Memphis Aero and worked his way up to a flight instructor and charter pilot. He obtained as many ratings as he could eventually becoming an FAA designated check airman and pilot examiner. He created the Southern Institute of Aviation and started one of the first flight schools to use video recordings to teach students to fly. His career naturally turned to aircraft sales, and he became a dealer for new Beechcraft which he sold for 10 years for Memphis Jet Center. In 1977 he started his own company, John Bell Aircraft, Inc., and the rest is history!
