The business unit Production Technology with its headquarters in Nuremberg and its factory in Pleystein (Upper Palatinate) delivers solutions for complex manufacturing tasks. Our range of products can be divided into the following sectors machine tools, carbide tools and tube technology/sheet metal forming. In these sectors we are the supplier for diverse industries, especially automotive, medical technology and the valve and fittings industry. Leistritz tube technology/sheet metal forming has its beginnings in the manufacture of mufflers. We were the supplier for these in the 1970's for the German cult car, the VW Beetle. Today we are still very successful in this area and supply components for exhaust systems for premium automobiles such as Audi, BMW, Daimler and Volkswagen. We are the reliable partners in the area of carbide precision tools. In addition to our standard series, we primarily provide special solutions and services in the tools sector that provide our customers with more efficiency and quality. We also plan and realize whirling machines and keyseating machines for the economical manufacture of internal and external profiles. Both manufacturing methods whirling and keyseating require the highest level of precision, flexibility and capability. We support our customers in achieving these goals.
