Norstan Electronics, Inc.

Norstan Electronics began in 1974 as a small 
  distributor of electro-mechanical components.  
  The company's founder, Dennis P. Stangenberg, 
  has spent his entire career in the aerospace 
  industry. When he began Norstan, he wanted to 
  meld his first-hand experience in OEM, 
  component manufacturing and distribution into a 
  company responsive to customer's needs.  
  The mandate was to be the best, not the biggest.  
  It is this understanding which is the foundation of 
  Norstan in responding to the varied needs of its 
  customers.
