Shell is a major energy producer and supplier. We provide approximately 10% of the UK's total oil and gas production. We also make a vital contribution to the UK’s energy security by delivering energy into the UK from further afield. The natural gas we extract from Norway’s Ormen Lange field, for example, meets up to 20% of the UK’s total needs.

As well as delivering energy and providing products and services we make a significant contribution to the UK through employment, tax revenues and investment.
