Turkish Engine Center; was founded in 2009 as a joint venture with world’s leading aircraft engine manufacturer Pratt&Whitney and our company.
Main location of TEC is based in Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen International Airport which covers an approxiamete 23.000 m2 of closed area. Activities are conducted in the modern facilities that are designed in an environmental sensitive concept in accordance with the standards set by U.S. Green Building Council-Leadership in Energy Environmental Design (LEED). As a result of having these modern facilites in 2010 it became the first facility in Turkey to aquire LEED Gold certificate in the aviation sector.

TEC facilities and shop arrangements are ordered in a way to minimize engine maintanence expenses and duration in respects to ordinary maintanence and management concept.

Having started operations in January 2010, foremost for Turkish Airlines than for many other national and international airlines, TEC provides maintanence repair and revision services for CFM56-3/5C/7B ve V2500-A5 series aircraft engines. Annual maintanence capacity of TEC is 300 engines. With over 200 personnel, TEC is surely on its way to becoming a credible voice in aicraft engine maintenence sector.
