In 2013, Brody began designing a fixed-wing aircraft with ducted fans that pivot and provide the airplane with vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) capability as well as forward propulsion from those same ducted fans. This led to the TriFan 600 vertical takeoff airplane and the formation of XTI Aircraft Company. With its eXtended Technology and Innovation, XTI is founded on a culture of customer-focused problem solving to meet the evolving needs of modern travelers, and promises to change flight and personal freedom and mobility by air travel forever.
