B.SIde® is Safran's new service, designed to provide real-time recommendations for remote borescope inspections.
This innovative service will assist airline technicians in making faster decisions during the borescope inspection of engines, therefore keeping aircraft grounded for as little time as possible. The B.SIde® service also offers free distance learning modules to improve borescope inspectors’ abilities.
B.SIde® customers calling receive a turnkey service package including the accessories needed to share borescope images, access to an interactive Web platform and accompanying app (available on iOS), an automated tool for creating checklists and inspection reports, access to a secure cloud address for storing and sharing inspection reports, and contact with a borescope inspection expert from Safran Aircraft Engines.
B.SIde® enables customers to increase operational efficiency and lower costs, improve skills and monitor their fleets. It is now being offered to operators and repair firms for civil aircraft engines developed by Safran Aircraft Engines, alone or in partnership.
