As part of our focus on non-destructive testing (NDT), IMITec offers robotics-driven remote NDT inspections at customer facilities for AOG incidents. Robots can be mounted on an aircraft and operated remotely by one of our NDT engineers to check for damage, after which it issues electronic release to service documents. IMITec also provides NDT training for common testing methods in aviation— including eddy current, ultrasonic, radiographic, penetrant, magnetic particle and shearographic—as well as human factors training for NDT engineers.
