Shimco is an award-winning, world-leader in the manufacture of high-precision standard and custom aerospace-grade shims, shim materials, small precision machined parts, and patent-pending self-powered sensors for Diagnostic and Prognostic Health Monitoring. Shimco will also be certified shortly by Nadcap to provide special processing services in anodizing, chemical conversion, passivation and painting for metal parts, allowing Shimco to be vertically integrated.

Shimco supports the OEM, Tier 1 and MRO aerospace markets, as well as the space and defense markets.  Shimco is the #1 aerospace shim supplier in Canada and Latin America. A majority of the world’s aerospace OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers buy from Shimco, including Airbus, Bombardier, Collins Aerospace, Bell Helicopter, Embraer and, soon, Boeing. 

Shimco is AS9100D certified and Canadian Controlled Goods and JCP registered, allowing us to sell into the Canadian and US military market spaces.
