Making Social Distancing Easier In Cabins

MRO Links Snapshot:

Factorydesign, specialists in all aspects of cabin interior design, has introduced two new concepts that will help passengers feel safer as they return to flying, while providing airlines with simple methods of physically separating passengers.

The Isolate Screen Kit transforms the middle seat into a reassuring screen, providing maximum personal space and separation for adjacent passengers. With easy disassembly, the kit can be stowed as needed or fitted to any seat to accommodate traveling couples who want to be screened from the aisle. The screen is easy to clean and can be retro-fitted to any existing economy seat on single-aisle and twin-aisle aircraft.

The HeadZone Passenger divide is designed for short-haul airline routes for seats without IFE. Any passenger may easily and quickly create this important space with a product made from recycled material. HeadZone comes in a variety of colours and can be purchased by the passenger in the terminal or supplied by the airline.
