Purogene is a certified organic, broad-spectrum antimicrobial solution. It kills bacteria, fungi and viruses via oxidation. It is most commonly used to sanitize potable water and potable water systems on aircraft. Purogene prevents sludge and organic buildup in lavatory systems.

The Boeing company uses Purogene exclusively to sanitize its potable water system on every aircraft before it leaves the assembly line. Purogene Airline Sanitization Systems (PASS) are also available from AeroSafe to meter the exact quantity of Purogene into the potable water to achieve the best results.
