Precision Threaded Products was founded in West Hartford, CT in 1940, making it one of the industry's oldest and most experienced manufacturers of aerospace fasteners for gearboxes, turbines, landing gear and more. We manufacture: Rosan®-style ring & key lock studs, Rosan®-style ring & key lock inserts, nuts, bolts (including T-bolts, hex heads and gang channel bolts), screws, ferrules, bushings, pins, shouldered & drilled studs & shafts, inconel studs, AS3319 through AS3322 size-on-size studs, and related components.
We also produce components that require secondary operations, including shouldered studs, drilled studs, and studs with locking features or wrench pads.
PTP's specialty is precision fasteners for aircraft engine manufacturers, including GE Aviation, Avio and Pratt & Whitney; we also supply component manufacturers, and engine overhaul and supply services.

At our spacious new headquarters and manufacturing center in Bristol, CT, Precision Threaded Products and its team of technicians, machinists, and customer service specialists is dedicated to serving the needs of aerospace manufacturers and distributors who require fast turnaround on orders of 100 to 10,000+ pieces. We maintain a substantial inventory of certified raw materials, including high temperature stainless steels, Inconel, Waspaloy, titanium, and aerospace alloy steel.
We maintain AS9100/ISO 9001:2015 Rev. D certification, and hold a Laboratory Control at Source (LCS) designation for Pratt & Whitney.
PTP is an accredited supplier of high strength fasteners by Collins Aerospace (formerly UTC Aerospace Systems-UTAS) and PWA-LCS certification and GE Direct Source, and is included on DLA’s QSLM for Class 3 Threaded Fasteners. PTP has a robust internal Quality Management System (QMS) and is Federal Government / Military Build-to-Print approved.
