Temporary Cabin Modifications for Medical Cargo Transport

MRO Links Snapshot:

Due to the coronavirus crisis and changing needs of many airlines, Magnetic MRO’s DOA (EASA Part 21J) team stands ready to provide customers with cabin modifications for COVID-19 medical cargo transportation in aircraft normally used for passengers. Magnetic MRO has certification and experience in providing both types of modifications allowed by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). One modification option leaves seats in the cabin but fixes cargo boxes on them with special straps. The second option allows the removal of seats, meaning a change to operations type.

Also, Magnetic MRO DOA holds STC and can provide cabin modification for medical stretcher installations on various aircraft types, including the A321 Family, B737-800, B747-400, B777-300, ATR, and others. This modification can support airlines wishing to utilize their passenger cabin fleet in relation to COVID-19 medical assistance requirements.
