M-Tech, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Impro, is a precision machining parts manufacturer supplying high-complexity and high-precision products to the world’s top players in the Aerospace, IGT, and Oil &Gas industries. M-Tech is specialized in the manufacture of combustion assemblies (end covers and fuel nozzles) for land-based gas turbines.

Turning- Size Limit: Φ900 (35.4”); Accuracy: 0.005mm
Milling- Size Limit: 1530×1230×1020mm (60.2”x 48.4” x 40.2”); Accuracy: 0.02mm
Welding (Brazing, GTAW, EBW)- Size Limit: φ800*800 (31.5”x 31.5”)
EDM- Size Limit: 400×300×300mm (15.7”x 11.8”x 11.8”); Accuracy: 0.005mm
Assembly- Size Limit: Φ900 (35.4”); Accuracy: 0.05mm
Flow Test- Mass flow range: 0.22-476g/sec; Effective area: 0.009-19 cm²; Accuracy: ±0.48%; Repeatability: ±0.25%
Borescope- Min Φ2.6mm, length 2000 mm
The combustion assemblies (end cover and fuel nozzle) is a complex and high precision part composed of more than 200 components that are made from bar stock, plate, pipe, forging, casting and precision machined parts. It requires all capabilities in-house, including machining, EDM, welding, assembly, NDT, and functional test.
We employ cutting-edge 5-axis vertical machining centers, 3 and 4-axis horizontal and vertical machining centers, and CNC lathes to produce these products. Our plant facility is certified to AS 9100D and ISO 9001:2015. A host of special processes are available in-house to ensure quality and shortened lead times. They include:
- Heat treatment (Nadcap certified)
- Testing- CMM/Hardness/Flow test/Hydrostatic
- NDT (Nadcap certified)- FPI/MPI/LP/Borescope/UT
In addition to part production, we also provide customized MRO services, including:
- Repair of end covers and fuel nozzles
- Modifications of end covers and fuel nozzles
