3D.aero is a technology partner for aviation MRO, delivering advanced sensor, inspection and automation solutions for high value aerospace components. Our specialties include high precision surface inspection of engine parts in µm resolution and customized special machinery for complex maintenance, inspection and assembly applications. By combining 3D sensor technology, intelligent software, data processing and robotics, we help MRO organizations increase speed, consistency and decision reliability directly on the shop floor. Our HP-FX system enables fast, reproducible 3D defect measurement and documentation without moving parts to a lab environment. In addition, we develop tailored automation solutions for demanding aerospace processes, including aero engine assemblies and other application specific equipment. 3D.aero has been part of MTU Aero Engines since December 2024.
