AeroControlex began our aerospace manufacturing and design under the name Great Lakes Manufacturing in Cleveland, Ohio in 1945. Over the years, AeroControlex has established itself as an industry leader in the design and production of hydraulic, fuel, lubrication and coolant pumps.

In 1993, AeroControlex added mechanical actuators to the existing product offering. With over 50 years of Controlex control cable design and manufacturing experience including sliding, ball bearing, gearboxes and manual actuators, these devices are used worldwide in a wide variety of commercial and military platforms.
