Aerospace Engineering Solutions (AES) holds Part 21J design organization certification from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA). Operating from offices in Malaga, Spain; Shannon, Ireland; and Braintree, UK, AES’s Part 21 services cover cabin interiors, exterior liveries, structural modifications and repairs, and avionics and electrical modifications for both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft. Some recent Part 21J projects have included complete cabin retrofits for entry-into-service, cabin power upgrades, and installations of inflight entertainment, galleys and Satcom. In the past year, AES secured four supplemental type certificates (STC) for widebody and single-aisle cabin configurations, including an all-business-class lie-flat seat arrangement for Maldivian carrier Beond. AES is pursuing approval to exercise our own STC layout of passenger accommodation privileges.
