Global AirWorks is an aviation service company founded in 1994 to fill the void in the aircraft modification business. Global AirWorks primary customers are the commercial airlines, both domestic and international and airline Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM). Global AirWorks business related to new or upgraded systems for airline passenger communication, entertainment, comfort and safety.

In the past, the ability to have a maintenance allocation for the purpose of completing market-driven interior changes was highly irregular because the need for aircraft lift was always present, Global AirWorks devised a system and a plan to perform these interior modifications during the actual layover time of the aircraft. The crew actually went to the aircraft rather than the aircraft going to the crew. Consequently, modifications were achieved without the aircraft having to leave its normal scheduled rotation of flight and RON location. Because these modifications were primarily cabin or cockpit related, the need for expensive hangars, fuel burn and ferry cost were not required.
