In 1994 AVIABALTIKA Aviation Ltd. overhauled its first helicopter Mi-8PS.
Aviabaltika Aviation Ltd. is a Lithuanian company providing services pertaining to repair, overhaul, warranty and post-warranty maintenance of aircraft and equipment.
Aviabaltika's main activity is airworthiness support and maximum extension of service life of the Customer's aircraft fleet, adaptation of the aircraft for specific types of missions and aircraft upgrade.
Aviabaltika performs overhaul, maintenance and upgrades of Mi-8/Mi-17 type helicopters. The MRO is certified by the Civil Aviation Administration of Lithuania and has the EASA PART 145 certificate.
Aviabaltika also supplies aeronautical engineering equipment, components, spare parts and repair kits for Mi-8/Mi-17 type helicopters and other Russian aircraft.
Additionally, Aviabaltika offers training of flight crews and technical personnel of MI type, Eurocopter, Bell, Robinson and Schweizer helicopters at company’s own training center – AST Europe, Lithuania. The center was opened in 2010, it is equipped with two EASA certified MI-171 and MI-17-1V type simulators.
