In September 2011, BTC was one of the first interconnect distributors to earn the AS9100 Revision C Certificate (Quality Management System Standard for the Aerospace Industry). This certification is supported by the world's leading aerospace companies and represents that BTC meets or exceeds the requirements of the prime aerospace and defense contractors.

BTC first earned its AS9100 Rev B Certification in September 2009 and elected to upgrade to Rev. C to meet the industry's newest and highest standards of quality. We have recently earned the AS9100:2016 Cerftificate.

AS9100 is the QMS standard for the aviation, space, and defense industries and is governed by the IAQG of SAE International. The mission of the IAQG is to improve product quality and on-time delivery of products. This is achieved through the implementation of initiatives intended to make significant improvements in quality and reductions in cost throughout the value stream.
