C W Price & Company was established in 1949 by (Tickey) C W Price originally serving the light aircraft industry with magneto and carburetor parts.

Over the years Barry Price (Tickey’s son) expanded the business mainly in the aviation field with ground support equipment such as, aircraft tow tractors and ground power units being added to our profile.

Meteorological equipment was also added to our supply base in the early 60’s.

3rd Generation owner Kelvin Price has continued with all of these products and has strategically added other meteorological lines including Onset data loggers and Davis Weather stations making us a leading supplier in Southern Africa for meteorological equipment.

We are extremely proud of our locally developed online VitalWeather system which is steadily gaining ground in the forestry, agriculture and general purpose sectors with sales into the UK, Africa and Sumatra.

Since our founding our company credo has always been honesty, integrity good ethics and an open door policy which continues to this day 68 years on. Our Goal is to be the supplier of choice for all equipment provided by us.
