Champion Door is a Finland-based specialist in motor-operated, vertical-lifting fabric fold-up doors. We supply single-leaf and multi-leaf hangar door systems to aviation and MRO customers for applications across various aircraft platforms, sizes and segments. Our elevating support-post systems enable us to create wide, unobstructed openings without floor tracks or heavy supporting structures. Interest is currently high in our energy-efficient, intelligent door systems that maintain stable working conditions and control energy consumption in hot and cold environments. We recently supplied the hangar door systems for Air New Zealand’s Hangar 4 maintenance facility in Auckland, and are also investing $35-50 million in a new manufacturing facility in Maryland to strengthen our North America presence. Champion Doors has introduced a digital door configurator aimed at making the early stages of hangar door projects faster and more accurate.
