In 2023, as a result of our first and second Call for Proposals, we added 8 innovative projects to our portfolio, with an overall amount of activities for €806 million in EU funding. The 28 projects bring together close to 300 entities from 24 different countries. These projects, driven by their impact, aim at reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by no less than 30% at aircraft level (compared to 2020 state-of-the-art) while enabling zero CO2 emissions in flights when using hydrogen as energy source, or up to 86% net-CO2-emission reduction when being combines with the effect of Sustainable Aviation Fuels.
