The Colorado Springs Airport
The Colorado Springs Airport (COS) is a city-owned, public, civil-military airport located 12 miles southeast of downtown Colorado Springs. Peterson Space Force Base is the largest tenant, co-located on the north end of the airfield.
The Colorado Springs Airport is the second largest in the state, composed of 7,200 acres. The 3-runway airport sees over 148,000 operations and nearly 1 million passengers annually. Five passenger and two cargo airlines serve the airport – American, Delta, Frontier, Southwest, United, FedEx Express and Key Lime Air (UPS) with scheduled commercial air service to multiple nonstop destinations and hundreds of connecting options around the world.
