3M™ Scotch-Weld™ AF 163 Structural Adhesive Films are thermosetting modified epoxy adhesives engineered for high-performance bonding in solid panel and honeycomb sandwich constructions. Available in multiple weights, carriers, and tack configurations - including knit (AF 163-2K), matte non-woven (AF 163-3M), one-sided tack (AF 163-2OST), and unsupported (AF 163-2U) versions - the AF 163 family delivers outstanding fracture toughness, peel strength, and moisture resistance across temperatures from -67°F to 250°F. Capable of low-pressure bonding and vacuum curing, these films bond metals and composites alike and are qualified to multiple aerospace OEM specifications including BMS 5-101, BMS 5-129, and others.
