Concorde Battery Corporation manufactures premium sealed lead acid aircraft batteries predominantly used in general aviation, business aviation rotorcraft, and military aircraft applications. Concorde batteries are capacity tested for airworthiness, recharged and returned to service. Unlike nickel cadmium batteries, sealed lead acid batteries—the only kind Concorde manufactures for aviation—are maintenance free. For this reason, repair and overhaul services are not provided by the OEM. However, operators, battery shops, FBOs and MRO facilities can complete the capacity check and necessary charging for Concorde batteries. Concorde conducts virtual and in-person training, as well as inspection authorization renewals.
