Covalent aims to help aftermarket companies optimize technical training and labor scheduling. The software maps out employee skills, testing, certifications and renewals; optimizes workforce planning; and tracks learning pathways, such as how staff are progressing against productivity standards. Recently added new features include an Intelligent Work Assignment recommendation system that matches workers with job priorities at the start of a shift, as well as an interactive skills matrix that lets supervisors assign training, analyze records, and see notifications in one interface. Covalent was recently integrated with iBASEt manufacturing software, and it is now being used by customers such a QuickTurn Engine Center and Boeing’s Global Services and Defense, Space & Security business units.
