The State's capabilities in the aeroengine, aerostructure and MRO segments make of Sonora a unique player of the aerospace industry in Mexico. Due to its remarkable competitive advantages, MRO is one of the most promising aerospace segments in Sonora, hosting QET Tech Aerospace, the only FAA, FAR 145 certified repair station in Mexico located in Ciudad Obregon, offering Heavy Maintenance, Storage, Painting and Recycling services. Due to its approval of the FAA, FAR 145, QET Tech Aerospace is now ready to serve U.S. fleets. Volaris, Estafeta, Viva Aerobus, and TAR are some of its current clients in Mexico.
