FL Technics offers Part 21J and 21G services from its main base in Vilnius, Lithuania, and a new branch in Jakarta, Indonesia. The company says its Part 21 services have transformed significantly over the past five years, including developing new procedures, upgrading software, modernizing processes, introducing new products and expanding capabilities. For instance, it recently branched into modifications for Airbus A380 aircraft and developed a cargo toolbox for the A330. FL Technics says customer demand drove its decision to establish a dedicated team for external livery decal applications. The company recently replaced a full set of seat covers for a Bombardier CRJ200 from its new in-house Part 21G sewing shop, which opened in March. FL Technics plans to expand the shop’s capabilities to include seat cover changes for economy and business-class seats and manufacturing of curtains and bags. FL Technics says customers are increasingly seeking Part 21 providers who can delivery full-cycle services from design and production to installation, and it sees growing demand for mandatory interior equipment standardization across airline fleets.
