FlightPath Services, Inc.

FlightPath Services Inc. began as a small family-run business in 1976 by company founder Edwin Vayda. The company's initial thrust consisted of wheel and brake overhauls. It soon expanded into life raft and life preserver inspections as well as sales of consumable products. The company's reputation as a quality shop with a primary concern for immediate product turnaround helped the company to prosper and grow. FlightPath Services, Inc. soon found itself in a 5,000 square foot building with five full time employees. FlightPath began expanding the services it offered and the products it sold.

The Company now was capable of, among other things, calibration of test equipment, gauges and tools, inspection, service or repair and certification of NiCad batteries, certification of transponder and altimeters, weight and balance of aircraft as well as inspection, overhaul and repair of survival equipment and wheel and brake overhaul and repair. Selective training and supervision programs for staff have supported FlightPath's growth.
