General Aviation Inc. is a family owned and operated business. We were founded in 1948 and have been in continuous operation since. We are a full service FBO with rental cars, fuel and maintenance. Our full service maintenance shop offers annual and 100 hour inspections as well as a full service station for single and multi engine aircraft. We are located in the heart of South Side Virginia. Local attractions include Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia International Raceway, Martinsville Speedway, Hyco Lake and the town of Danville.

From Large Corporate Jets to Light sport aircraft we are here to serve you all. We are conveniently located near several large hotel chains and many fine eateries. Being only a short drive to Greensboro, Raleigh and Lynchburg you will find KDAN to be situated perfectly for all of your business or personal travel needs.

General Aviation also offers flight training year round. We accommodate all schedules and offer flight training 7 days a week to fit your schedule and needs. Our flight school offers Private, Instrument and Commercial ratings. Our hours of operation are Monday thru Sunday from 7am to 7pm and after hour services are available if requested.
