HAECO Cabin Solutions (a HAECO Group subsidiary) has developed several patent-pending devices designed for carrying freight in passenger cabins. This allows the main deck of the plane's interior to carry additional payload, thereby increasing profitability for airline cargo operations.
Two of the products eliminate the need to remove seats, as one can be fitted on existing economy seats and the other fits in rows between the seats. Each can hold up to 240 lbs. A third product installs in economy-seat tracks and can hold up to 500 lbs., and the fourth product is a pallet stowage device that sits on the cabin floor and holds up to 1,000 lbs. All four units can be used on a single aircraft, if desired, and be arranged to comply with load distribution guidelines.
HAECO Cabin can develop supplemental type certificates (STC) for all of the major air transport mainline and regional aircraft.
