Kansas Air Center
Located at Manhattan Regional Airport (KMHK), Kansas Jet Center began operations in May of 1989 as Kansas Air Center. Prior to creating the business, the company’s president, Ron Nordt, was a charter pilot flying out of Manhattan. Throughout the years Kansas Air Center actively promoted general aviation, sponsoring open houses and public events raising the visibility of aviation in the region. Now as Kansas Jet Center, the support of general aviation will continue.
In August of 2016, just as the new state-of-the-art facility was being completed, Ron Nordt agreed to sell Kansas Air Center to AEG Fuels, a global company supporting aviation with single-supplier convenience as a marketer of aviation jet fuel and related services. Renamed Kansas Jet Center, this first AEG Fuels’ FBO will represent the brand’s well known tradition of creating first-rate service that will grow to support its people and the aviation community for generations to come.
