Kracon Aircraft Refinishing

Kracon Aircraft was established in 1972 and is one of the oldest established paint shops in Northern California.

The founders of Kracon Aircraft, Edwin Krass (Kra) and Robert Coon (Con), have extensive experience in the refinishing business, starting with military aircraft. In 1972, they established their own painting business concentrating on private aircraft. When Ed and Robert retired, Kracon’s manager, Terry Wingfield, bought Kracon. In 2015, Terry has taken on a new partner, David Szkotak, who had been working as Kracon’s head painter.
