Our Cyclean engine wash technology was used to perform more than 7,000 engine washes last year, resulting in savings of nearly 140,000 tons of fuel and more than 440,000 tons of CO₂. Lufthansa Technik (LHT) has developed an optimized engine wash procedure for Pratt & Whitney PW1100G and CFM International Leap-1A engines that enables washing in just under 45 minutes, even at the gate. In September, LHT partnered with maintenance provider ACC Columbia Jet Service, which will utilize Cyclean through certified mobile teams across Europe. Last March, Boeing extended its contract with LHT for Cyclean washes of the worldwide C-17 Globemaster III fleet until the end of 2027.
