MDS Coating

Since 1997, MDS Coating has developed and applied metallic-ceramic protective coating to gas turbine engines. Applying our BlackGold® coating to compressor airfoils significantly increases the life of parts and reduces both maintenance and operational costs. Our coatings have saved our commercial aircraft customers up to 1.5% in fuel consumption. Qualified by all major OEMs, our gas turbines coatings have accrued tens of millions of successful operational hours and provided our customers over one billion dollars in savings.
