Senior Aerospace SSP

Senior Aerospace SSP was originally founded in 1945 as ‘Stainless steel products” by a group from the Ryan aeronautical company in San Diego, California. The company was formed with the goal of making stampings for aircraft exhaust manifolds using two drop hammers they had acquired.
The wisdom of this strategy has been well proven during the years since 1945. Stainless steel products grew significantly in the decades following it's founding. By the 1970s the company had grown and diversified into additional markets. By the 1970’s it was renamed as SSP Industries operating four subsidiaries involved in designing aerospace products, agricultural equipment, construction equipment, and truck automotive equipment. In 1995 SSP was acquired by Senior PLC and renamed senior aerospace SSP.
