SAS provides custom engineered maintenance stands for safe, efficient ground operations. Our equipment is designed to your specific needs, manufactured at our Indiana facility and delivered personally to assure fit and function. For example, our Wi-Fi Access stand gives mechanics and technicans a fully surrounded, safe working cage, eliminating the need for tethering. This innovative product is available for narrow body planes (B737NG up to B757) and wide body planes, including B767, B787, A330, A350 and B777. SAS also provides support services such as refurbishing existing stands for longer operating life, and re-locating stands (this can include the largest tail docks to smaller equipment) within your line maintenance hub, or even across the country. SAS designs and builds maintenance stands for military/defense applications as well.
