SR Technics and Safran Aircraft Engines have signed a long-term contract extension for the complete overhaul and testing of the LEAP-1A engine. This agreement marks another significant milestone in the partnership between the two companies that has allowed SR Technics, with the support of Safran Aircraft Engines, to build state-of-the-art LEAP MRO and engine test facilities.
“This extended collaboration with Safran Aircraft Engines is of great importance for SR Technics, as it will allow us to provide world-class new-generation engine maintenance services to the LEAP-1A operators. We are very grateful for the confidence and support Safran Aircraft Engines has shown with this eight-year commitment,” said Owen McClave, CEO at SR Technics. “This agreement strengthens our long-standing relationship and underpins our strategic investments in infrastructure, talent, and technology”, he added.
