When AerMetals was founded in 2012, the jet engine recycling industry was fragmented and inefficient. Engines were being dismantled without proper environmental controls, valuable materials were lost, and certification standards were inconsistent.

We pioneered a different approach: we buy engines outright. We fly to inspect, we see the asset, we buy immediately. With purchase completion in just 1-3 days (subject to export regulations), we became the fastest buyers in the industry. Our in-house aluminum smelting and direct smelter accreditation worldwide means we control the entire value chain.

Today, we process more engines than any company on Earth. With ISO 9001, ISO 14001, EASA Part M 504, and FAA compliance for mutilation of unserviceable parts, we provide complete certification and export documentation. What we're most proud of is the trust we've earned from airlines, lessors, and MROs in over 40 countries.
